The Laboratory for Pharmaceutical Analysis develops and validates methods for analysis of drugs. The techniques used are Liquid Chromatography (LC), Gas Chromatography (GC), Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) and Mass Spectrometry (MS). The drugs studied are often antibiotics. Also, a Column Classification System was developed, facilitating the reversed-phase LC C18 column selection.
