The aim of the Molecular Biodiscovery group headed by Prof Peter de Witte and under the supervision of Dr. Camila Esguerra is to identify and validate novel small molecules with significant pharmacological potential using a zebrafish-based platform. The Laboratory for Pharmaceutical Biology is located on the 8th floor of campus Gasthuisberg, O&N 2 in Leuven (Belgium). Excellent administrative and technical support is given by staff of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Pharmacological Sciences.
